The opinions about USA online casinos regulations are becoming very negative. Within the last few year online gambling became so popular that land-based casinos got into trouble. Their revenues were decreasing and high taxes weren’t helpful in such a tough situation. Land-based casinos try to change the situation and they hope that the hard regulation concerning gambling in UK will change. Of course there was the Gambling Act of 2005 which was supposed to make the regulations towards casinos a little bit milder but it didn’t bring the expected results. In fact, the situation of land-based casinos got even worse since that time. There were new taxes and regulations which gave online casinos an advantage. In response to the global crisis many casinos are going to be closed. Such a drastic decision will cause an increase in unemployment. Land-based casinos are places which employ many people. These people will lose their jobs because of the UK regulations.

An executive at Praesepe and British Amusement Catering Trade Association, Nick Harding has lately stated in Times Online what should be done in order to rescue land-based casinos from being shut down. He said: “Since 2005, when the Gambling Act was supposed to usher in a new era for our industry, manufacturing output in this sector has decreased by 55 percent and more than 25 percent of the manufacturing workforce have lost their jobs”.

According to his statement the government shouldn’t implement any new regulation. The better way of helping land-based casinos is an adjustment to the minimum price limits and stakes for such enterprises.
